Meet the team • Steph
Hi, I’m
Steph.
Founder, Creative Director & Floral Artist
The visionary behind Lily in June, Steph is equal parts floral artist, event designer, dreamer, and professional possibility-seer. She turns the half-formed idea in your head into a world you can walk into, usually with flowers, texture, a little Texas spirit, and one detail nobody else would have thought of.

My Lily in June superpower
Seeing the full story before anyone else can. Steph connects florals, fashion, interiors, hospitality, and emotion into one deeply personal point of view.

Before the flowers
How we
became us.
I have built a lot of things from instinct, imagination, and the stubborn belief that we could make them beautiful. Mandi has been beside me since our Downtown Houston hospitality days, when we ran busy restaurants and bars, mastered cooler organization and inventory, and opened our final concept together in 2018. While I was quietly shaping Lily in June, we designed, built, and touched every inch of that space. By the time Lily in June opened in 2019, I already knew the person I trusted to help carry it. Mandi is the heartbeat and I am the soul. I have always needed her more than she probably knows.
Off the clock
Where you’ll
find me.
A two-mile walk with my doggos, Dexter and Phoebe
Helping, hosting, playing, and occasionally dealing a few hands
Working with the Chamber, dreaming up the next concept, or finding something new to do
Tap for the highly unofficial truth
Very human
confessions.
What is the Costco situation?
Addicted. A quick Costco run is a fictional concept, and there is always room in the cart for one more thing.
Is the wardrobe really secondhand?
Almost entirely. It started when I sold my home and built the tiny, then became part treasure hunt, part creative challenge, and completely me.
Round Top frequency?
At least four times a year. I go for vintage character, old stories, and the thrill of finding something with a little soul.
Superwoman all the time?
Only on event days. The rest of the time I am probably in a hat, making a giant list, looking for my coffee, or wondering how Costco did it again.
